Yay! Grades are in!

All of my grades are in from last semester!! I did about what I expected...decent/good grades in criminal law, contracts, & property (that was one hard test); a not-so-great grade in civil procedure (hard class for me...but hey, I passed and did okay); and an awesome grade in LRW (A!! Okay, I'm going to brag a bit...I'd rather have an A in a research and writing class than a subject class because as a skill, I think it's more important. I can't just go look up how to write like I can with the other subjects.).

I knew I was not going to have the top grades in the class, so I'm happy with what I've got. First of all, it's stressful being at the top...I know because I did it all of junior high and high school. Secondly, I did the absolute best I could last semester. I might try to see if I can make my best a little bit better this semester, but I can't be upset with myself because I honestly did the best I could. Thirdly, grades aren't everything. My mom keeps reminding me that just because you have good grades doesn't mean you'll make a good attorney. She seems to think I have that something else necessary. I hope she's right.
