"Hottie"

I'm not one to get crushes on celebrities.  I don't know why... I remember being in 5th grade and every other girl in the grade thought Jonathon Taylor Thomas was cute. I didn't really care and thought there was no use having a crush on him anyway... celebrity crushes are so impractical.  Sweet Shoppe Designs (the other online scrap place I've begun to visit, along with the wonderful Scrap Girls) challenged people to "scrap a hottie."  I saw tons and tons of vampire layouts and finally had to give in.  One of my favorite shows of all time is Doctor Who, specifically the seasons with David Tennant as the Doctor.  The new Doctor, Matt Smith, just started last week. I haven't had the chance to watch it yet.  He will probably do a great job, but he won't ever be able to replace Mr. Tennant. In honor of Mr. Tennant's 3 years on the show, I scrapped him as my "hottie." I was inspired by the phrase I've seen in connection with Doctor Who--"You never forget your first Doctor."

Mr. Tennant, I will miss you and your quirkiness, but I suppose I'll just have to watch my Season 2-4 dvds or catch you in some Shakespeare play until you hit it big in America.

(By the way, I told Geoff about the page, as he is also a Doctor Who fan, and he thought it was amusing. )
