It has been a rough couple of weeks over here. Between a sick husband and a car accident I haven’t had the energy to do much of anything. I look forward to getting back into a normal routine now that everything has been taken care of.
Our friends invited us to a pumpkin farm last weekend. It was fun and a much-needed distraction from our worries. The weather was beautiful that day, and there were pumpkins almost as far as the eye could see. That was a shock, because I pass that area on my commute and I had NO idea there was a large farm hidden in the hills! I ended up taking home one small but perfect pumpkin, as well as 4 tiny pumpkins.
As luck would have it, Jen Wright also has a new scrapbooking kit called Pumpkin Farm Pals that was just perfect for documenting our day. It is a huge collection, with cardstock and extra papers with a gorgeous subtle texture, as well as journal cards and more. Can you tell I’m a paper addict when it comes to scrapbooking? Anyway, this is my page for our pumpkin-picking photos.
I also made a tribute to one of my favorite fall drinks. Yes, I know it doesn’t really have any pumpkin in it, but sometimes when I want a taste of fall, I just can’t resist.
If you love this fall kit as much as I do, you can find it at Scrappy Bee or Daisies & Dimples.
