I think the post I was writing was something about how the wedding felt a lot sooner than it's been feeling lately. However, that feeling is gone, and it feels like it's going to be a million years away again. Why couldn't I plan one for Christmas break?

I was in the middle of writing a post during my lunch break last Monday when I got an email that I had been accepted as a Junior Editor for the Journal of Islamic Law and Culture. I was so excited about it that my post somehow disappeared. Instead, my friend congratulated me, made me take a facebook quiz on when I would have my first kid and then planned a dinner out to celebrate (the journal, not the supposed baby girl in 10 years). Can I just say I love my friends and their addiction to Mexican food? They'll take any excuse to go out to Mexico Viejo.
