Kitties

Geoff and I adopted two kittens on Saturday. I was going to get just one, but I didn't want to break up the sisters, so we got them both. And this way they have someone to play with when I'm not home. They're both very sweet. I've never had a cat before and I definitely did not expect them to be as affectionate as they are. Sally (the white and brownish one) just loves to rub all over our faces and be petted. She's a little cuddle kitty. MingMing (I think we're just calling her Ming--it's easier) is a bit more energetic. She likes being petted but likes to be doing something more. Ming also hasn't learned not to claw and bite yet. She's not doing it quite as much now that I've started telling her NO and blowing or spraying her, but still way more than I'd like. I'm wearing old jeans for a while so she doesn't ruin my new ones.

They're both obsessed with my computer desk. I guess it's because they've figured out that's where I spend most of my time. They both just hop up onto my lap or straight onto the desk and walk around. They love watching the movement on the monitor. Sally likes to lay down on the main part of my desk and beg to be petted.
