Hello, November!
November is one of my favorite months of the year, and I'm glad it's here! It's the month of Thanksgiving and Christmas preparations. Autumn is well and truly in swing, and we get to see little bits of winter (at least here in Denver). Oh, and not to forget Daylight Saving Time ended and I had a glorious extra hour last Sunday. (We'll just ignore the fact that soon it will be dark out at 3pm.) November is such a cozy month, and it's the last chance to calmly enjoy life before the Holiday Craziness starts.
My To-Do List this month consists of planning for Thanksgiving, cross-stitching some Christmas ornaments, drinking delicious coffee, finally wearing long sleeves and sweaters (hopefully), and little bits of purging/organizing/decorating around the house.
I'm also starting an online project led by Jen Wright called Count Your Blessings.. It is based on the idea of scrapping 30 days of things you're grateful for, though in reality it's a little more relaxed than that. You don't have to do something every day for 30 days or even 30 things. Do what you are inspired to do. It can be completely digital, completely paper, or hybrid. I purchased supplies to do it paper, though of course I have plenty to make a digital version. I'm not actually sure yet if I will scrap it all paper or do a hybrid. Either way, I'm excited to play around with this project.
That's about it for my plans for November. Do you have anything enjoyable planned for this month?
