These are the flowers Geoff had for me when I got home on Friday afternoon. They look suspiciously like a Valentine's Day gift, but I can promise you they're not. A couple of weeks ago, Geoff wanted to buy some new toy for his computer when we were in Best Buy. I wouldn't let him because I didn't think he needed to spend the money. After we left the store he started explaining why he needed it and how his current one was broken. Then he said he would buy me a rose if I let him. Well, it's been about a year and a half since I got flowers from Geoff, so I told him to make it a small bouquet of 3 roses and it was a deal. He saw these in the grocery store Friday afternoon, saw the price, and decided to get them. It just happened to coincide with Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day just also happens to coincide with our dating anniversary. Five years ago, about two weeks after we met, one week after getting completely lost on our way back from Tulsa, and about 10 minutes after midnight, Geoff and I were officially a couple. I then got onto him for being so corny as to ask me on Valentine's Day. Apparently he didn't realize it was Valentine's Day yet and thought it was still the day before. So, whether I like it or not, I have to celebrate something on Valentine's Day. I just choose for it to not be the traditional celebration.
I suppose I've procrastinated long enough. I know myself...I won't be able to cheat by finding case briefs online. The only way I'll be able to answer questions in class tomorrow is if I take the notes myself. So with that, goodnight!
