Sewing Machine
I really want a sewing machine. I think it would come in useful for simple projects--like making curtains since I can't find any I like or making a skirt to wear. Target has one on sale this week, but I know I can't get one now (and I don't think that one would be decent anyway). I think I'm going to check craigslist and garage sales/ flea markets to see if I can find anything. Until then, maybe I can borrow my mom's for a while. It's finicky, but maybe with a little bit of attention it will play nicely.

Sewing machines are one of those things it's good to wait until you can buy a good one. I bought a little Kenmore that I really like (but it's still not as good as my mom's really old singer). At first I bought a little Singer (for about $100), but I didn't like it and took it back for the Kenmore ($300). *shrugs* Goodluck! Shop around ^_^
